Correspondence, mss. and production materials of published and unpublished writings, subject files, newspaper clippings, printed material, and other papers relating to Wayman's career as a journalist for the Falmouth (Mass.) Enterprise, Boston Globe, and Olean (N.Y.) Times Herald; her work as an author, especially her biographical studies of Frederic C. Dumaine, Edward Sylvester Morse, David I. Walsh, and William Cardinal O'Connell; and her work as a librarian at Holy Cross College (Worcester, Mass.) and St. Bonaventure University (N.Y.). Subjects include the Sacco-Vanzetti case, and Wayman's interests in Catholicism, religious questions in Vietnam, and China and Japan. Correspondents include, in addition to members of her family, Richard Cardinal Cushing, Hazel Draper, Joseph M. Hoc, Chuhei Matsuo, William H. McDougall, and John Cardinal Wright.
